Luca Colombo, guitarist, teacher, arranger, has collaborated with many artists, the best of the Italian and international musical world, has recorded three CDs as a soloist and collaborated on various educational works, holds numerous seminars and masterclasses in guitar schools throughout Italy modern, effects, improvisation and session man activity. Born in Cernusco sul Naviglio in 1966, Luca discovered his passion for music at a very young age. For about 20 years he has been playing the electric and acoustic guitar, preferring rock-blues music and the crossover between traditional and electropop. He practices as a guitarist as a "session-man" mainly in Italy in the television, recording and live fields and has published two other solo albums entitled "Haze on the water" and "Sunderland" for the Believe label. He has participated in countless television programmes, occupying important spaces within leading events such as the Sanremo Festival, X Factor, The Voice, Casa Mika, Rockpolitik and many others. In his 30-year career he was a guitarist in the most important live tours, citing for example Eros Ramazzotti, Nek, Max Pezzali, Marco Mengoni, Ultimo, Mango, Anna Oxa, Antonella Ruggiero, Umberto Tozzi, Loredana Bertè, Malika Ayane and many others . He has recorded on albums with many Italian artists including Laura Pausini, Adriano Celentano, Mina, Alessandra Amoroso, Nina Zilli, Francesco Guccini, Mauro Pagani, the list would be very long to complete. He composed and created the soundtrack for the film "Sottovento" (2001) and participated in the creation of DVDs by accredited Italian artists. Winner of the FIM award as guitarist of the year 2013, he has been the guitarist of the Sanremo festival orchestra since 2007 and is currently a popular jazz guitar teacher at the Bergamo conservatory. He published the trilogy of manuals "Life as guitarists" which is enjoying considerable success. He is also involved in the live project "The Luca Colombo Band" which sees him as the protagonist of important stages in Italy and abroad, often combining the concert with the educational seminar. In 2023 he collaborates as guitarist and musical director on Gianni Morandi's tour.
